About Robot-X
Building a Kinder World
We create intelligent, friendly robots that make life easier, safer and happier for families.
Our story
A Robot That Belongs at Home
Robot-X started from a simple observation: the household robots on offer were either toys that lost their charm in a week, or assistants built for adults and bolted awkwardly into family life. Neither belonged on a child's desk.
So we set out to build the other thing — a companion small enough for a bedside table, useful enough to earn its place there, and friendly enough that a child would want it around. That became Nexo: it holds the routines that matter, shows the time and the weather, and speaks up when something needs attention.
Everything we ship is measured against one question — does this make the day a little kinder for the family living with it? Where the answer is no, we leave it out.
What we believe
How We Build
Four commitments that shape every decision, from the shape of Nexo's eyes to what we are willing to claim.
Kindness First
A robot in a family home should be warm before it is clever. Nexo encourages rather than nags, and its face was drawn so a child can read it at a glance.
Honest About What It Does
We list what Nexo can do today and nothing more. If a capability is still being built, we say so and mark it as coming soon.
Made for Everyday Life
Study, sleep, meals, the weather, the time. We would rather do a small set of daily things well than a long list badly.
Built in Egypt
Designed and assembled here, shipped by governorate, and supported by a team you can reach by phone in the same time zone.
